  • No we do not believe that a cow is supposed to eat high quantities of grain, It’s not good for them and not good for you. Alfalfa hay is used to finish our cows so that fat levels are kept low so we can get the best quality lean beef.

  • Yes in fact, we raise our steers from the moment they are born to the moment they are slaughtered.

  • We never vaccinate our animals. Occasionally we may have to use an antibiotic on a sick animal, although that animal will never be butchered for beef consumption. It will be sold at auction.

  • Great question, our animals are slaughtered at Wolf Pack meats in Reno, Nevada or York Meats in Fallon, Nevada. Both are USDA inspected facilities.
